The rules for the first of 2 technical challenges at RoboCup 2019 have been released to the Technical Challenges section of the SSL Website.
As a summary, participating teams will need to find and touch a stationary and a moving ball without having access to the position estimates from the ssl-vision software. We are not planning on removing the ssl-vision from the main competition. So don’t worry if you’re not planning on doing the technical challenge.
We realize that you may need to add additional sensors to your robot, so we have removed some of the hardware size restrictions. See the rules document for more information.
